The engineering department offers its services in areas of basic, FEED & Detail engineering as well as construction and installation engineering for OPC's EPCI projects in the fields of civil, mechanical and electrical, pipeline, and SPM, platform and jacket designs. The department has a wide range of engineering services achieved through collation and analysis of various data including lessons learnt. Many of the engineering skills in OPC are due to direct involvement of engineering department during procurement, fabrication and installation engineering activities and through significant feedbacks engineering department to improve and optimize their engineering activities. OPC Engineering department's Information center and technical Archives (ITCA) is supplied with the latest information about oil, gas and energy industry standards and specifications to support OPC engineers.
Procurement
OPC commercial department manages procurement of OPC projects and provides professional support with a variety of services. The department's goal is to acquire quality material and equipment from competent suppliers and support the projects through on-time delivery and within planned budgetary price. To provide the best possible service, the department's staff relies on their technical background and commercial experience while supportive activities are carried out through an inclusive system of sourcing and expediting, planning and monitoring procurement information system.
Construction
The construction industry is one of the industries that all developed countries have localized in the path of development. The growth and promotion of this huge industry in the country requires a move to excellence. Commissioning
Another capability of OPC is its project pre-commissioning and commissioning particularly for plants, platforms, pipelines, SPM and related facilities. Pre-com and commissioning activities are executed in fabrication yards and offshore with the help of suppliers' representatives. OPC understands the importance of meeting client project's timetable and on-time commissioning of projects are also of extreme importance to us. The department is involved in all relevant activities and has successfully implemented its duties in various projects. OPC commissioning has set up a material traceability system through the creation of punch lists for various disciplines; and it also identifies action parties. The department replaces vendor and conduct repair on plants and platforms including valves, while not sacrificing quality. OPC is able to reduce cost and time as a part of our services.
